Perfect Failure

If life sucks then what's the point? I must be missing it.

Might as well be talking to empty rooms, cause no one's listenin.

Nothing's right in the world when nothing's right in your heart.

Seems to me some things were made to just fall apart.

Perfect failure, don't give up now

Perfect failure, the end is near

Perfect failure, keep asking how

Perfect failure, nothing to fear.

Optimism tells you every situation can be improved, while

Pessimism tells you there are some mountains, can't be moved.

So many voices, a thousand choices, all at once but you've only two ears—

There's no black and white, only gray in sight; nothing can dispel your fears.

Perfect failure, don't give up now

Perfect failure, the end is near

Perfect failure, keep asking how

Perfect failure, nothing to fear.

Those days, when all that you want is to be better

Your desire, a day full of nothing-but-netters

But normal never works out and you never know why

You don't know if it's easier to cry or just die.

Perfect failure, no matter what

Perfect failure, don't give up now

Perfect failure, never enough

Perfect failure, just take a bow.

When you've done all you can and there's nothing left you can do,

And everything is wrong, you're wrong, though you thought you knew,

When you look in the mirror at the end of the day,

You see the perfect failure you are, and there's nothing to say.
