I feel like I’m running out of glue
My bottle is empty and I haven’t a clue
Of ways to make you stick together like new
What more can I do when you feel like you’re through?
The world’s full of beauty that could never replace her
But I can’t make her want to put down the razor
Some days are a daze, blur; we all make mistakes, sure
But I need to make sure the pain doesn’t erase her
Some days life seems to just fall apart
The pain always is there and we all play our part
Some things are just too hard to stop once they start
Every scar on your arm leaves a mark on my heart.
You’re so full of love and you’re so full of life
But sometimes you can’t see it and pick up the knife
I’m scared that one day you’ll see nothing but strife
That the tipping point tips and I’ll miss out on a wife
Blood mixes with water and depression holds the power
As your life flows from you to the drain of your shower
The pain gets too hungry and soon it devours
We fall to the floor alone; cry together for hours
Some days life seems to just fall apart
The pain always is there and we all play our part
Some things are just too hard to stop once they start
Every mark on your arm leaves a scar on my heart.
