Philophobia

You were a complete stranger to me when we met,

A common friend whom i can’t quite get,

But the direction of the wind changed and shift,

I stare at you and this might be my gift,

A girl who is silent yet full of fear,

Fear of falling in love.

Why would she be afraid when she already hit me with her charm,

Her majestic smile and that slim arm,

That simple things are what I love so far

And i dug deeper to know who she is,

The girl who let me enter her life with a simple please,

There i knew she was something special,

Letting me love her was something more,

She made me feel that a person like me is worth fighting for,

And I’m sure that she would be the one

But things change and hearts break,

I tried too hard and i get what i can take,

But the door she once opened,

Was starting to fade

I was scared to knock again for it might get tough,

I was too weak and definitely not buff,

I know I’ve broke her heart

But i know i loved her from the start

I will be keeping you in my heart

But i guess forever isn’t going to start
