There was once a girl who waited for true love. She believed that everything would happen on the right time. So she waited.... and she waited... for someone to finally show up in front of her.
But there was none.
People would pass by her, but none would look at her.
Till there was a boy who finally looked at her, she was filled with happiness. But the boy didn't go near her, he just smiled at her. From then on whenever she would meet the boy, the boy would smile at her.
One day the girl had enough, when she saw the boy, she confronted him. She asked him, "Why won't you talk to me. All you've been doing is smile at me."
The boy replied, "That's because you have no need of me."
The girl was shocked. She's been waiting for so long to find a guy who would finally notice her, and now that someone did, he'll just say that she doesn't need him? The girl was furious.
"How could you say something like that!" Tears threatened to spill. "Don't you know how long I've waited for a guy to notice me?!"
But the guy just smiled at her. "I said that because you already had someone by your side."
The girl was confused, she stared by her side. There were numerous bouquet of flowers, books, chocolates, teddy bears, they all crowded beside her. Her tears finally trickled down her face as he saw a guy running towards her with another bouquet at hand.
"No one probably wanted to speak to you because that guy has always been there from the first time I saw you." Tears continued to slid down her face. "As you looked in front, everyday he would visit your side and offer you gifts. But you only looked in front of you, that's probably why you didn't notice him."
The boy left her as the guy running towards her finally stopped in front of her. "I thought you'd never look."
