The crime has done it's part
To draw us far apart,
The law has played it's role
To crave for something better.
O my friend, do you remember your promise???
I am a part of you, my love
Do you ever come across the letters,
We shared each day, each night,
I stand here all alone today,
Do you remember your promise???
The envious smile, the childish fights,
In which we engaged ourselves,
So that we may not be separated a day,
When the sun goes gloomy
And the earth forgets to rotate...
O my life, do you remember your promise???
To tell you, it's not the best end,
But the end that stands best,
In the hands we hold forever,
I still remember it dear,
"We promise to remain forever...."
