Going for a road trip is every biker's dream! It was my dream too. So one day I planned to hit the roads with my friend. It was a trip to Idukki(Kerala), where we both had many friends.
It started raining when our trip began. We stopped for sometime as we could see nothing, it was raining heavily. Let me tell you about the place. I've never been to Idukki before, but it is said to be the 'greenest' place in Kerala. As the rain stopped we hit the roads, it was me driving. I started to shiver because of all the water and wind, but it was fun. After some time we stopped for tea. The people were so nice to us. The guy in the shop had a small chit chat with us and gave us a little discount too on our way out.
That trip was something which gave us some energy after all the examinations and seminars. We enjoyed each and every kilometre of our trip as we didn't have anything to worry. As we travelled we stopped at many places for some rest and all. At last Idukki was just kilometres away.
We called up our friends there for joining us and one of them arranged stay for us in his home which was a great thing. His parents were so nice, such a happy family. We took rest for one day and the next day we set out for sightseeing. I was ready to kiss nature. All I could see there was green. It was green everywhere. I've never seen nature this beautiful before.
I couldn't think of anything else there. I felt like i was alone there, enjoying the beauty to myself. I fell in love with Idukki! I never left Idukki, my mind is still there. Wish i could visit that place again and let myself wander. Like i said 'I've never seen nature this beautiful before'.
