She

As I first saw her the first thing that struck was her smile. Her beautiful smile. Her dimples were so cute that I wanted to touch them. Later i came to know that she was in my class too. At first I had trouble talking with her. But she took initiative and talked to me. We became close. We had a gang of friends but none of them knew that I had a crush on her.

Time passed. I was at my last year of teenage and so was she. At that time I met with an accident which was pretty severe and I had to undergo a surgery and all. Though i had many friends, it was she that took care of me by calling me and texting me every time. She even took the pain of completing all my notes. She was such a sweet girl. She once visited my home and it is where everything started. To be honest, tears came out from her eyes and it was the first time I've seen that. I asked myself a question, Does she love me? I took a risk there and kissed her. It was spontaneous. I still don't know why I did that! She got shocked and moved away. After some time she went home but till that time we didn't talk or we were not able to.

Like usual she texted me in the evening but she didn't ask me anything about the incident and i didn't ask her too. Some days passed and we went outside together. It was raining heavily. I took this as a chance and proposed her. At first she couldn't believe it. But then she said YES. The real problems came after that. She was a Hindu and me a Christian. We had no issues but our families had. It was difficult for us to continue our relation. Like most of the love story ours had no happy ending too. The most saddest part is that I've never got a chance to see her smile again.

It was she who taught me to love. It was she who taught me be happy. It was she who taught me to be positive. She taught me many things. I miss her but I've never told her that. She's living a good life now. And the reason why I've never told her is that one important lesson she taught me

"Make others happy and find your happiness in that".
