Routes after endless disappointments

Life is full of ups and downs as people fight to find happiness. During this seemingly endless war, you may experience the cruel feeling of disappointment. These heart-wrenching disappointments make people wonder why they even want to keep living in this horrible world. They make people wish to see others suffer and agonize. Disappointments build hate, and hate leads to isolation.

In life, there are always two paths to choose from. There’s the path that forces you to stay in your comfort zone, which will make you feel good but caged. You could by the time taint your soul and kill your willingness to live. Or, the other path, though, is hard, yet it will lead you to eternal rapture in the end.

Path 1  pushes away those who care about you, changes your attitude, and makes you into someone you don't even know. After you walk down this path, you'll begin to blame yourself for putting your trust in the wrong places. Bitterness will overwhelm all your passions and dreams, stealing your will to live. Eventually, you'll lose your identity, and get lost in this emptiness forever, hoping that one day, you will simply vanish.

Path 2  allows excuses from people who hurt you the most, forgives them, and moves on. Once you take this path, you’ll begin to fix your inner core, develop yourself to reach higher places, look towards your dreams, and believe that you can hold them right under your feet. You’ll know that people with beautiful hearts and caring souls do exist, and one day, your soulmate will come. They’ll accept who you really are, and, most importantly, they’ll retrieve your personality and beautiful spirit back. When this happens, you'll always see the bright side in your life, you'll spare the people who hurt you, and you'll find a sense of peace in your life that you’ve never experienced before.

It is incredibly difficult to choose which path to take. The first places you in a zone where you curl upon yourself; afraid to take risks while drawing away from life. By nature, the second path is harder to start because the journey of finding your soul has many obstacles, so people usually give in and desperately return to shelter.

But, if the first path is more appealing, why choose the way that requires you to exert more effort?

Well, at the end of the day, the first path will end up creating a prison that ultimately prevents you from living the life you've been striving towards. It will stop you from discovering the things you are eager to learn. Eventually, you will end up losing your own identity as fear traps you.

Path 2 is the hardest. Yet, in a way, it's the easiest riddle of all time. The key to opening your mind in the way you’ve always wanted simply lies in making up your mind to walk the more difficult path despite all the dark,  regrettable thoughts inside. All you need is to take a minute and decide to act. Once you take the first step along your path, you'll see that taking that risk of opening up to the world again is worth all the work. Then, after you make your choice, you'll see how beautiful life can be.

Life is all about challenges and heading to distinctive destinations; that's why, I chose the second path. Actually, you are made to leave imprints in this world! Every one of us is made for a reason, to live, succeed and to fulfill roles of life. and for me, I didn't do that by just crumbling in my despair, hoping for life to get better.
