Sayonara

The hardest goodbye are the ones we never anticipate. The one that is so hard to accept, the one that is so hard to move on from and the hardest to let go, yet you don't have a choice but to learn how to live with it.

Why do people are so good at goodbyes? Don't they realize it's too painful for the ones who are being left behind? Don't they know it doesn't make sense, when they say goodbye to someone and left without an acceptable reason. Don't they know other people are all willing to sacrifice everything they have just to be with someone? But no, they don't. People don't realize it, they believed they did the right thing. They believed that by saying goodbye, they lessen the casualties, they lessen the struggle, they lessen the pain. They believed they are strong enough to let go and leave someone behind. They believed it is so much easier to let go than to forgive. It is the truth and yes, they are too good at it.

We may not live forever to forget and forgive, but I think we all live to say goodbye. In the end, we are meant to say goodbye even if we don't want it. We will all leave someone behind and no one knows what's next. The hardest truth to accept. The hardest to expect. The hardest to believe. But it is the naked truth about "goodbyes".
