Sometimes when alone, I think of the past, the sweet memories pertaining to the different shades of events that were mystifying and radiant. Often we are advised to not look into our past and conclude or predict our present and future, but to me that is not how I conceive life. Every event, every situation and everything happening around us only happens because of a reason, a reason which act as a stepping stone to a new pathway. The ultimate trick to identify the opportunity presented in front of us is to triangulate all the “reasons” into one probable outcome. The probable outcome that we have been dreaming for and eagerly waiting for it to get fulfilled, and to do this the power of ‘Little’ is to be applied.
The word ‘Little’ might literally mean something small but go a little deep into it and see, it is not something small, rather little is and will be the inspiration to anyone who wants to dream big and advance into the world of infinite opportunities and probable outcomes. Yes, this is a different approach and surely will not be accepted all but hey, this is something very personal and things are bound to be this way and it’s perfectly all right!!
A little piece of Chocolate, a little piece of Sweet,
Makes the bond between you and me Evergreen.
But a little bit self-centredness and misunderstanding
Creates a gap with infinitely long width.
Childish it may sound but the fact lies in these small gestures. Those were the days when my brother fought with me during lunch and dinner, and the fight was not because of something big but merely for a small piece of sweet. I still remember how epic those fights were and how cleverly I used to eat the sweet first. These are some small acts which people do not tend to forget.
“Man watching” sounds a bit vulgar, right? I mean seriously who would want to ogle at someone and what will he/she know about that person?
This is a question that has been best answered by Desmond John Morris, an English zoologist in his famous book: MANWATCHING-A Field Guide to Human Behaviour, 1977. Human beings have a very different and complex sets of action. Postures, gestures, facial expressions, clothing and ornaments has their own underlying causes and meanings. To decode these and successfully interpret a person one needs to observe the minute things associated with the subject. Way of communicating, postures, habits, actions and reactions, feelings, attitude and patience determines the overall profile of the subject.
So the art is to look for small things that people generally forget to hide, those small details that are the secret key to unlock a person. Like the chat script of a person reveals a huge number of details. It says if the person is active, inactive, interested, good listener, does not care, talks just because of formality or is simply busy. The pattern of the script also reveals the mind-set of the subject. It says if the person is famous or not. Here the level of popularity is determined by age, sex, personality and most importantly looks!! (Although there are exceptions)
Everyone has within themselves four distinct areas: Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat, and the small projected gestures are the ones responsible for the overall behaviour of an individual. So after reading this, think, and question yourself, is this really possible? Can I project myself to others?
