Self-growth

It was a year of revelations, an overflow of emotions that have been kept buried for years. It was a year of forgiveness and acceptance for what has been neglected will no longer be haunting and yet it will be remembered as a memory that will serve as a lesson throughout a lifetime of redemption. 

I have come to surpass a year of deafening silence from people I will no longer despise nor miss and it is refreshing to know that I too can learn to let go. 

I have come to realize that people will come and go if you let them they will leave your life peacefully or create a huge scar and that is up to you whether to let them do it or you take on the wheel and lead the way to how it should be.

I have realized that I have grown this past year and now I have found my goal in life, my priority to have my family in first, to keep growing and building myself into a better person and use the setbacks as a springboard to advance myself to who I am going to be. 

to my future self, don't let the dream die. keep it alive, don't ever turn your back on it no matter how much life will leave you broken. You will get there, don't ever forget your values don't ever let anyone influence you to compromise your values for success. live a full life and contentment is the key to happiness.
