Saw her crying at distance, mind urged to give her assistance

Not able to bare the sight of her cry, I stood beside her and wondered y?

Drops of her tears fell, as my heart tried to tell

Why you shedding so much tear, to a mistake that will soon disappear

Then a friend she became, a constant presence as I called her name

Stories were told and laughs were exchanged but don't know exactly when, I fell for a girl yet again

Always scouting for trouble is my heart, thought she was another girl who I would have forgot 

Time was close for me to leave, as dad got another job up his sleeve

Then I saw the look on my best friend's eye, he fell for a girl for the same did I 

"She is a girl who I will forget", a thought I wuld later regret

Walked away with pain so tall, called all my friends yet not them all

Left the city... been half a year, me wanting her voice to hear

Can't bare nor tolerate this mess, dialed her number in distress

"Hello" said the voice sitting hundred kilometers apart, a friend left behind when I depart 

Heard the news of her new boyfriend, the man who I still called my best friend

'Love happened not planned' is soo true, as my love for this girl sinfully grew

"I shouldn't, it's wrong" said my brain, was not listened by my heart in vain

Said things to them that should never be told, they left me on new year's all broken and cold.

A world of silence entered my life, as hurtful as a stab by lingering knife

All I wanted was her selfish love, all I got was her waving glove.
