Went unnoticed the tears that escape her eyes,
A proof of how deeply the world is blind.
All we saw was her fake smiles,
And not her sufferings to stay alive.

In a world so deaf, she lost her voice,
The words she said were never believed.
Now her wrists are making a silent noise,
With the stories she wrote under her sleeves.

Dropped the stare at what the mirror reflected,
Knives were those comments made by her mates.
Those knives however cut deeper than intended,
Now for every meal she pushes away her plates.

Purity got destroyed by filthy hands,
They clamped the mouth to muffle her cries.
A girl was born on such a land,
Where she got blamed, not the hungry eyes.

Dropped on knees and cried the whole night,
Getting tired of fighting every war.
Staying alive went beyond her might,
And died an angel who was meant to die for.....
