He who was once a metaphor in her life,
The verse in every ballad she is,
And the thoughts of every nostalgia she've been
He who was the rainbow she hates
The sunset she resents
He who comes and leaves fast
He who've been trapped in her frozen memory
He is now free.
She sets him free.
The balloon she's afraid of letting go,
Now became a speck in the sky.
Realization puzzled itself.
At last.
Because everything is ephemeral.
Thoughts.
Feelings.
Even pain.
Even hatred.
Even people.
Paradoxes came clear to her.
The sun must set so it may rise.
We need darkness to see the light.
The moon is on far for the wolf to long.
And something must be lose to be owned.
Life itself is unsure and unclear.
Those million doubts and fear are where it dwells.
Yes, nothing is certain for sure.
But sometimes, we just have to believe.
She decided to walk again.
She's not sure she could
She just believed.
And so she did.
if she keep on closing her eyes she will never realize she was settling for less
