"Whats a SoulMate?"
I looked at her, surprised that she did asked what a soulmate was. She turned to me and with a serious face, she asked again "What's a Soulmate?" I sighed then smiled at her "A soulmate is someone who loves you dearly" I said, it wasn't entirely true but it could keep her quiet... Then she asked "Mum loves me dearly but she's Daddy's soulmate" she frowned "You love me too, Connor!" she punched me weakly, she's Seven thats why. I shrugged then looked back at the stars. Silence rolled around us and I spoke softly "A Soulmate is someone who will hold you forever". The girl looked at me, confused as I continued "Someone who'll take care of you... Their love is different from our Family's love" she nodded as if she understands what I just said. Railey looked at me with her big round eyes "Different? How?" I shook my jead and laughed softly "They will give you this... Weird feeling-" "Like a Crush?" I looked at her as she tilted her head in confusion. I shook my head "A "Crush" gives you a crushing feeling in your chest and everything feels weird" I then poked her nose and she laughed softly upon contact "A Soulmate gives you a Connection". Regina just looked at me, still tilting her head "What Connection, Cons?" I shrugged "Like a string and two cans? A string connects those two cans and then you have a play phone" She nodded the stared off at the sky. I hummed a song then felt her tiny hands onto mine "Do you have a Soulmate now, Cons?" we were silent when she asked the question. She knew what silence meant and just sighed. I looked away "No. Not anymore" Railey looked at me with concern as I continued "I lost that connection a long time ago". Silence fell and then I felt her body hugging me, I felt her smile and I smiled. She whispered into my ear "I'll be your soulmate for now" I laughed softly, I don't think she understand what I said but I just agreed. She looked at me and chuckled "You're a famILY" I raised my brow and she ruffled my already messy curled hair "Fam, I Love You"
