Sparks of him

I saw you smiling with your eyes reaching the clouds.
You are still as beautiful in my eyes, and the sparks came along with you again.
I remember I was so awkward every time that we were together,
I once sniffed your collar thinking that it would help my sleepless nights,
I once did that secret but busted glance along your way to see you,
I once asked you at times when you smiled with the usual conversation starters, "hey, how was your class?" wishing that I sat there with you just like before,
I once rushed my way to the library to sleep and burn my time but there you are blocking my way teasing me as I looked up and saw myself in your lovely eyes.
As every memory we had shines, I grew terrified of what it could grow.
You were once so sweet to ask me about my days,
You were so happy to see me every time way back,
You were even looking forward to every get togethers for a chance of us to see each other,
You were once excited and thrilled to help me out with school stuff,
But time grew fast and I was so consumed of self-doubt that it made you wonder what went wrong.
At that time being, I already gave you up against myself.
It was tragic.
Forgetting us even though there was never really an us could be the hardest choice that I made.
Time made us forget for a moment that we once exist.
And then as I thought of you along that lane of your memories,
I saw you smiling with your eyes reaching the clouds.
You are still as beautiful in my eyes, and the sparks came along with you again.
