The stereotype called love

Info

Jay left for college at his usual time. He was late again for the train and he couldn't help but get irritated with himself. This was a part of his routine though. He resolved to make up for the lost time during the lunch break and took the next train.

For those who knew Jay, he was an ordinary, fun- loving and attractive guy. But for those who truly knew Jay, he was a fighter, a survivor and yet unaffected by all the turmoil of his past. He carried an untold story, a beautiful one. Only Jay knew and realised that he wasn't the hero of his past. The feisty damsel, who held his hand and his heart throughout, was.

As fate would have it, Jay was in love with someone he might never end up with. But love had touched him once and it left more than just a mark forever. The beauty who had taken away Jay's breath was now in the shackles of reality and Jay was a thousand feet away from her. It was best for them to be apart though, to get back to reality and find life. Oh how he wished he could! Jay could never really get enough of her, her name, her voice, her thoughts...her smile when she saw Jay. He knew she was was as much in love, he knew she was as perplexed, but he also knew it wasn't in their best interests. Both of them had accepted the actuality and yet when they faced each other after years, it would be nothing short of magic.

The train dropped him to his station and the crowd got him back to his senses. He smiled for the first time that day. he knew that it was going to hurt but he was glad that he could still embrace her memories. He was happily and painfully in love. He need not believe in the stereotype called love. So what if the beauty of love and the enchantment of her smile was short-lived, love for him was Leah and would always be!
