Once there was a boy who was taught swimming in a small Pond. He learnt it easily and his coach was really impressed. His coach thought that the boy will excel more if he is taken to further and taught swimming in ocean.
The coach ask boy to follow him and the boy followed his coach without asking any question. The boy was happy that his coach was happy with him and taking to some good place.
Coach took the boy to the ocean and asked him what he can see? The boy said only water and an island far from here. The coach asks the boy can he reach that island crossing the water. The boy didn’t ask anything and jumped into it and started swimming towards island.
First everything was fine and suddenly it started raining, winds blowing heavily. The boy was not able to swim further, he tried but the ocean was drowning him down.
He was left with only three options-
• First option was to try to swim and reach the island.
• Second option was to wait for any help from his coach or anybody.
• Third option was to get drowned and become unknown.
What option boy must have taken, what might have had happen with boy? Did he succeeded in crossing ocean and reach his destination? Or did he left hope and got drowned.
The boy almost got drowned and was sinking down into ocean. Then he remembers the words of his Coach. His coach said that if you want to reach somewhere, you have to get out of where you are now. Never stay with a false hope that someone will come and help to come out of any situation. Opportunities are not found, opportunities are made. Always try to make an effort to finish things, don’t give up without trying. Those who don’t try, live a life of regret.
The boy opens his eyes and pushes himself upwards. He swam harder, like there is nothing in between him and island. He just kept an eye on island and kept moving.
Finally, he makes up to reach the shore of the island. He relaxed and slept on shore. He then thinks of the situation he was in, if he would have left hope and get drowned then he would have not seen the island, nor he would have been alive.
It was all about having faith in ourselves, if we don’t trust ourselves its like losing hope and getting drown.
The story is related to the person who comes out of ponds to join some MNC or to do something. They all face these situations; some leave hope and get eaten by company. Some wait for false hope and get carried away with wind which leads to nowhere. Some are like that boy, who kept his hope and faith alive to reach the island of the aim.
