Desires
Desire to reach the top,
Desire to feel the breeze,
Desire to roam free without inhibitions,
Desire to show my naked soul,
Desire to be accepted for what i am not,
Desire to be misunderstood for what i am,
Desire to be loved deeply,
Desire to be hated intensely,
Desire to be drained emotionally,
Desire to be pained mentally,
Desire to feel the zenith,
Desire to feel the nadir of emotions unfold,
Desire to be numb,
Desire to be sensitive,
Desire to burn like an aching soul,
Desire to laugh till the breath can no longer hold,
And when this cycle ends;
of fulfilled and unfulfilled desires,
I still desire to lay in thy arms,
contended or unhappy? satiated or unquenchable?
The plethora of emotions running warm in my blood,
yet my mind is dissolved in thine thoughts,
I have finally found peace in thine solace,
I have found 'me' in 'thee',
It took me some time but i realised,
I am nothing but 'thee'.
