Sinhagad Trek

One of the most important forts near Pune is Sinhagad. The Sinhagad, Rajgad, and Torna trio, which includes the fort, is made up of Sinhagad, Rajgad, and Torna. There have also been a number of fights there. Unlike a lot of other forts, Sinhagad's construction is still there and in good shape. The trek to Sinhagad is one of the most famous treks in this area because of this. There are two parts to the Sinhagad walk. The first part starts on a paved road at Donje Gaon and goes up to a place where two-wheelers can park. To get to Sinhagad top, the second half of the walk is a steep climb. It's hard, but very worthwhile.

Mahuli Fort Trek

The creator of this fort is unknown. On Shahapur's eastern side is the main Sahyadri range, while Mahuli fort is on a single hill on its western side. This makes it one of the most beautiful and quiet places to go hiking near Mumbai and Pune. The lake smells like peace and quiet, which makes it a popular place for people who want to get away from people. It's also one of the best places to go during the rains in Mumbai.

Torna Fort Trek

Torna Fort is the hill fort in the Pune District that is the highest. It sticks out among the other forts in the western ghats of Maharashtra because it is 4,603 feet above sea level. The fort is also called Prachandagad because of how big it is. This name comes from the Marathi language, and it means "big fort" in English. Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who was 16 years old at the time, took over Torna Fort in 1646. This is a big part of the fort's past. This is where the Maratha kingdom was built from the ground up. It has a long past because it has been ruled by many different people. On the trek to the Torna fort, many exciting things come to light. You walk along beautiful flower beds. At the top, there are churches, water cisterns, Balekilla, two beautiful Machis called Zunjar Machi and Budhla Machi, and a ridge that leads to Rajgad fort.

Rohida Trek

Every trekker's bucket list must include a stop at Rohida, also known as Vichitragad, which is the fort closest to Pune. The windy, stunning, and magnificent fort is situated in the Western Ghats near the village of Bhor, about 61 kilometres from Pune. One of the 23 forts that the Marathas gave to the Mughals in the Treaty of Purandar, the fort was constructed during the Yadava era. Bajarwadi, a settlement at the beginning of the walk, is about 7 kilometres from Bhor. Bajarwadi and Khanapur villages offer lodging and dining options. At Rohidmalla, you can also book a room at the fort's highest level. Given how simple the walk is, you have more time to savour and immerse yourself in the breathtaking views this hill has to offer. Visit the magnificent Rohida Fort to satisfy your passions for history, adventure, and nature all at once. In the direction of the fort's entrance, there are three gates. The rock-cut water cistern, where water can also be retrieved for drinking, marks the second gate.

Rajgad Trek

The Rajgad climb is a challenging trek that begins at Gunjavane Village in the Pune District and ends at the Rajgad Fort. It is a popular trekking route for intermediate trekkers looking for a perfect place to sate their desire for adventure. The Sahyadri Mountain Range's Murum Dev Dongar hill is where the ascent takes place. The fort is situated in a beautiful area of India's Western Ghats, more than 1400 metres above sea level. This offers a stunning and exciting setting for adventurous activities. The monsoon and winter months are the most popular times for a Rajgad Trek.
