Every time i see these lonely roads,

it reminds me of those long walks ..

i had with you under these star studded sky ......

Every time i see a rose ,

it reminds me of the time you knelt on your knee

and asked me to be your unfulfilled half ......

Every time I hear someone say " I Love You " ,

It reminds me of our first kiss that we had near

the lonely river ......

Every time i hear someone cry it ,

it reminds of each of our fights ..

which tore me apart each time we had one ......

Every time I hear death,

it reminds me of  fire that fed you

as its  meal ......

And yet even after all these years ,

When i hear ...

"Darling I am home " I still expect it to be YOU .......
