Such is Love

There're lots of talks recently
That love now has changed

Love doesn't text you good morning now
And doesn't kiss you good night as well

Love doesn't ask if you're okay after work
And love doesn't ask at times but yell

Love snores now at night and loudly
It sleeps in during the days it promised to take you out on a date

Love forgets your birthday and anniversary
Love forgets the day you met

Love doesn't tell you you're beautiful anymore
And it doesn't hold your hand at walks

Love now has changed?
Well, yes. Yes but there's more

Because now instead of texting you
Love doesn't forget your coffee in the morning

And instead of a kiss at night
Arms would just wrap around you so tight when you are sleeping

Love doesn't need to ask anymore how you are doing
It's written on your face and Love has learned to see it

So instead Love gives you time and space to recharge
With a dinner right afterwards if you're up to it

Love sometimes yell, yes,
But just because it's concerned

Sometimes it's just its passion showing
When it thinks you're forgetting to think of yourself

Love snores, but that's fine
It's just when love is tired working for some dime

You rarely go out now for dates
But love, Love is your four corners
You make it your whole world

And yes Love do forget some important dates
But Love will never forget your face

It forgets the day you met
But never forgets the way you looked when you did

The way Love looks at you at times
Replaces the words beautiful

So don't look for it anymore
Instead feel it all through your bones

Love's hands may forget to hold yours
But Love will forever hold your soul.
