I was a little girl when I met you,
Standing by the door of Mindspring,
All scared and nervous,
But you took my hand
And accepted me as your own.
I fell a lot; but you picked me up
And helped me succeed in life
You taught me all that I know,
A pleasure, more than a responsibility.
Six years we spent together,
Laughing and studying
I used to make a lot of mistakes
And you always corrected me.
Now that it is time to part,
I don't want to say goodbye
Those precious moments that we had,
Have been etched in my heart forever.
You are the best teacher I know,
And you'll be in my mind
I hope you will remember me,
As I will remember you.
