She chose to be happy so she decided to move on. She left the place that broke her. She quit her job. She cut ties with the people that are no longer giving her peace. She stole her happiness back. And now she's saving her time for the best moment.
She doesn't have much in her pocket. She probably just had enough dollars to survive for a month. She isn't rushing herself to get a new job. She has plans of visiting her old town and meeting her old friends. For old time's sake, she'd like to look back to the place where it all begun.
She'd like to make peace with her past. She'd like to visit the place and the people that made her beautiful. Maybe, just one glimpse of her old self could bring her the same vigor and determination she once felt ten years ago.
She isn't the same anymore. And she is fully aware of that. But she'd like to taste the old life because just like wine, the older it gets, the better it tastes.
She isn't scared to start all over. She isn't afraid of what people will say. She'd like to be herself again. Regardless of her age, she's determined to pick up her life track and finish the race.
She believes that in life, there is no right or wrong. There's just lesson or experience. Things that happen, happen for a reason. You cannot dictate time and incidents. All you can do is manage the outcome. Right or wrong, you have to live up to your decisions.
It's sweet to have a perfect life. But we all know that perfect life isn't realistic. We all have struggles. We'll have a serving of sweet, sour, bitter and spicy scoop of life. We just have to bear with it. And remember that it's a flavor to gain more.
She decided to give herself a break. She granted herself a goodnight sleep. She granted herself just enough time to heal her wounds. She gave herself time to make up for all the days she left herself unattended. She is making the most out of it.
And she has time to write this.
