The 'Almost' Relationship

We started out as colleagues..
Then Friends who doesn't even have each other's cell number..

It was after one drinking session with other colleagues thst you took care of me like I was your girl and damn for the butterflies in my stomach.

You took my number, and there goes the daily exchange of messages..
We just have always something to talk about, may it be serious, eerie, lovelife or just comical nonsense.

We went on like friends.. For weeks.. Months..

Everything changed when you went overseas and reached me through Social Media.

Damn, we acted like lovers..
The 'in a relationship' routine... That we get so irritated with each other when we miss to do.

The nervousness and anxiety I feel whenever I have to ask permission from you when you weren't even my boyfriend.

The sweet 'i miss you' and 'i love you' when one of us gets too drunk.

Maybe we were so into each other babe, we were just scared to admit a relationship for fragile hearts that we both have.

But, our 'almost' relationship is something I cherish the most than any other relationship I had, cause I still damn love you babe.
