The Anonymous Girl

She was always looking at you. You in your gray t-shirt. She was admiring how good you looked wearing your silver watch. How you strummed your guitar and how badly you were addicted to patting your fingers into anything. She noticed all that. Even in your lowest moments, she tried to inspire you. But she knew that from the very beginning she was anonymous to you. She was the girl who always watched at the sidelines waiting for a miracle to happen. Her anonymity was making her feel miserable in most ways. But in some way, she loved it. Loved that she could see all of you. Inside and out. She could see everything from afar and that fascinated her. You may not know who she is but you made her realized what a perfect view she has. And who knows maybe someday, at the right moment, she'll come out and show herself to you armed with courage she gained. Until then, she will remain in her anonymity. And you, in her fantasy.
