The Beginning

At first, I wasn't really sure whether or not I can pull off at least one story that could capture anyone's attention. It was my first time to create a piece and have everyone, who can, read it. I admit, writing stories and poems isn't really my thing. I do not even know which is which. Where do I even begin? I don't have the slightest idea on how should I start it or how to keep the fire burning throughout the entire story because I wasn't really a fond of either reading or writing. But everything changed when we were tasked to write stories for our subject in english, "creative writing". Initially, my heart skipped a beat when we were told that we will have our stories posted online in the app called "Launchora". I was excited and at the same time nervous because I haven't had the thought that everyone may read the stories I'll be making. Notwithstanding the fact that I am not that fluent in english. I'm afraid not be an effective writer and that I won't be able to deliver the messages that I am trying to portray.

The first story I made, entitled "The Rooftop", was my stepping stone to believing that I can actually write. It was all about a young lady who got pregnant by his boyfriend and was dumped by the latter where she decided to end her life but was shookt with the different turns of events. I was actually surprised when our teacher recognized my efforts and awarded that story a certificate. Meanwhile, my latest piece is entitled "The Defendant" which genre can be characterized as a thriller one. It depicts the story of a husband who became the prime suspect for the murder of her wife and how he was able to defend himself against the accusations to him.

I know it is not easy to create a piece of your own. It requires patience and perseverance. Your imagination is your capital and your limit, your best and your worst, your beginning and your end.Sometimes it give ideas that sounds absurd but that is what actually it takes to become a good and effective writer.
