She felt it,
the tingling of her nerves,
the emptiness of the endless pits of her stomach,
the incoming disturbance of the weather.
She smelled it,
the saltiness of the ocean she hated,
the pungent remains inside the drainage,
the burnt sides of the fried egg placed too early on the non-stick pan.
She tasted it,
the iron from the insides of her cheeks,
the bitterness of her words,
the blandness of her emotions.
She heard it,
the faint voice during the night when she wakes up
at 1:27 AM for no reason,
the tears developing on her eyes,
trying to stay inside the water line.
She saw it,
the erosion of humanity,
the eruption of violence,
the flood of depression.
She sensed it coming for her again,
to eat her alive,
to torture to her again.
The human body possesses five senses: sight, hearing. taste, smell and touch.
The sixth sense is to listen on what your mind tells you is the right thing to do (wrong)
The seventh sense is the darkness that will never leave you even if you thought it's completely gone when the light finally arrives.
