The Bitter Self

We feel the need to throw up as we constantly listen to the endless love stories of our friends.

Here we go again, she sighs...

How horrible can the feeling get as her ears start to tremble from the words her friends' speak about - oh, love, love, love..

Oh cut it out, she cries deep inside...

The feeling of being hopeless with love; that just thinking of it may ruin the day. No, she doesn't feel anger nor rage towards this word "love," but the thought of it coming from someone else... maybe.

He looks at me and all I can see is my future... her friend says with joy.

All she wants is some peace and serenity with her cup of bitter tea, but all she can hear are the blabberish words of her so-called friend.

No one could really tell what she's thinking about in that dark mind of hers, but all they know is that she was once in loved - once and never again. She could never love again after that meaningless rejection she received years ago.

Now, her heart is as empty as her soul, and she can never let it go.
