The Boy on the Train

The crowds of a train is such that it can wear you easily. Some people in these trains are such that can make you lose sanity.
People travel everyday to reach a little closer to their destination.
Brave are those you make their journey their destination.

But there is this Boy everyday, freely travelling in trains as if unaware of the struggles every person around him is in, reading books with titles so  complex, you would wonder what's in the content.

He reads the books furiously, laughing unexpectedly as if they hide some secret joke amongst its pages.

Or listening to music with eyes closed, smiling,  trying to mumble words as they beat in his ears.

Or watching movies on his cellphone, so engrossed that you can see every emotion, every scene from the film playing on his face.

How he does that, being in his own world. Finding happiness in his books and phone and playlists. Things I never seem to consider.

Or maybe he too is in a lot of pain. Maybe he too is trying to escape from the world through these things. Searching for refuge in them. I would never know what he does in his life.

I hope I too find my happiness in something.

Or maybe I have already found it.
In Him.
