The Bride: A Ballad Poetry

Info

I hear it breaking, though it doesn't beat.

I may have lost the color, but I can still feel the warm tear against my cold cheek.

You may not feel the drum beat under my wrist,

But I tell you from the depths of the remains, the air might be freezing but I'm still feeling the heat.

I opened my wings not to fly, but to let myself fall when I removed the lies from your eyes.

You saw that I was blue, buried the thought that I am true.

Then i set you free, in the world of temporary, you'll be.

I watch you fill her cup and kiss her fleshy lips, so different with mine that is colder than my bare feet.

But I tell you from the depths of the remains, the air might be freezing but I'm still feeling the heat.

All of us meet at a certain point of fate

And by then I'll still be wearing my ring, and my infamous grin.

But I tell you from the depths of OUR remains, the air might be freezing but the laugh of a bride will surely bring heat

Because by the end, I'll win!
