Call her selfish, but once she was not so,
Selfless she was but that was a long time ago..
Now she is bitter ,her soul as cold as ice,
She lashes with her tongue, without even blinking twice..
All soft and mushy, her old self used to cry,
At everything she faced but then she used to smile,
Tears still roll sometimes, but that smile is forever lost,
Now stronger she stands, but at such a great cost..
Once like a weak climber she always needed support,
Now she rejects it despite being in a rocky boat..
Her life, her rules,
her troubles , her blues,
Her head held high,
Yet your help she'll deny..
She was looking for something or someone before,
Now all that she thinks about is of ways to get ashore,
What made her like this, oh those feelings she does miss,
She has everything but that one thing still amiss,
She thunders like those scary lightnings above,
She became like this the day she stopped looking for love..
