The Family Way -Part 1

Annabania's POV;

"Oh my God. Oh my God. MOOOOM!!!" I cried alarmingly. I can hear my mom's hurried footsteps coming towards my room.

Here we go.

"Anna, what happened?" she barged into my room, wide-eyed, searching to see if a burglar was in my room.

"Mom," I called, "I can't move. I'm paralysed," I said, crying into my hands.

And that people, is how we do it.

I was laughing internally. Ah, take that mother, I thought crazily.

I deserve an Oscar award for my acting skills.

Eh. Is Oscar award a movie or a
contest.

Never mind that.

She eyed me suspiciously before she started crying as well.

"Oh my baby girl, she can't move. Don't worry baby, we are going to heaven together. Now where is the pistol I kept inside this house," she wiped hers eyes dramatically.

Uh-oh. I think I've been caught red-handed.

I lied. I FREAKING LIED PEOPLE. I can't
act for the life of me.

"Mom, please don't make me do this," I begged.

"Do what sweetheart," she asked, looking at me innocently.

"Argh. Fine, I super-glued my self to the bed," I admitted through gritted teeth.
My mom was laughing hysterically now, tears leaking out of her eyes.

"You thought you could fool me again after you super-glued the door to its frame because you didn't want to go to school."

Forget what I said earlier.

I'M A FREAKING OSCAR AWARD
WINNING STAR.

Help me tell your friend as well about my acting skills because I wanna be
famous like Kim Kardashian.

Excuse me. But is Kim Kardashian an
actor or an actress? Meh. Who cares?
NO ONE.

I think I'm way off the track now,
thanks to my brain.

Um. I'm back now.

"One could try," I muttered under my breath, glaring holes into her head as she makes her way out of my room.

"Better get off your bed now before I come and drag you to the bathroom," she called out before heading to the kitchen.

And that people, is MY FAMILY'S WAY.
