Even those who don’t believe in the higher power, at some secluded point of their life, tend to introspect -- what if?
“If there really is an All Mighty, what does her life look like? If there is a chance God does exist, then what happens to non-believers?
Is eternal damnation for polarity of beliefs or defective morals?
If there is an absolute, endless, true divinity?
Life only begins if there is an end, a death to it.
If everlasting life is the only true life, are we just powerful versions of dreams of those who will wake up eventually?”
Leaving a mark upon the world, discovering universe’s many secrets, living in the moment and enjoying the bliss of being alive – these purposes don’t always hold the awaited catharsis once you realize them.
Science doesn’t believe in life. It only believes in existence and nonexistence.
At 24, Phil Knight had began his journey, traversing across the world and unknowingly began one of the most iconic existing brands, Nike.
While at the same age, Steve Prefontaine, major reason for Nike's rise, was already at the top of the world but met his untimely demise.
We all know what Nike is, have no inkling who Pre was.
Surely existence is not same as being alive but being alive doesn’t necessarily mean enjoying the moment.
It is more like being aware of it; not always do we enjoy what we become aware of.
Past, present, future doesn’t seem to matter when you are in an act of the moment.
Acts like running, music, sleeping and
Writing.
Act of writing symbolises liberation. From being created to becoming creators. Writing alleviates the fears, even if it is something brusque like this snippet.
This whole allegorical prelude is to pen down this feeling, this indecipherable urge, when you take over something involuntary -- like Breathing.
The brain seems to literally lighten up, there's a painless ache in the shoulder blades, there is a taste in the air, there is sudden overpowering drowsiness and indescribable urge…
What is this urge to break free of something?
If life is real, it is a heavenly drama and writing is a mime.
We mimic creation, places, situations. We create people, the characters. They are fictional to us.
But what if we are just fictional character in the creator’s diary?
She should be called as The First Writer.
Can we break free of the First writer’s plot if we control our character traits?
No one is inherently born evil. None.
Yet we find world filled with them. Evil doers, murderers, rapists and hypocrites. Every single one of them being blind & unaware of their purpose or action’s effects.
Most of us are trained, taught, educated, employed out of awareness. To be a cog in the bigger machinery.
Take someone who has nothing but work on their mind because they enjoy it. Efforts and rewards are a constant cycle everyone thrives on but workaholics need that to survive.
Take away the work, all the self-improving plans & personal goals, they fear the awareness that dawns on them.
Their role. Their purpose, apart from made up ones.
An artist. A creator. A designer seems a far better option than spending entire life as nameless part of the crowd.
Yet none are an option that we create; they seem like options that are available.
Anyone feels this gap?
Like my stories and characters, seems like the First Writer hit a writer’s block with me.
