The Fuss

Feels like I've waited for eternity,
To find a love so true,
That nothing else matters,
Won't mind if the sky isn't blue.

Won't care if the earth stops still,
If the water stops to flow,
If the fire ceases to burn,
If the sun fails to show.

The pair of birds that have lived under my shed,
Have filled such foolish fantasies inside my head,
Born to find something that's priceless yet free,
What else could it be other than love from thee?

Such high hopes, I had in this life,
Now look at me, so consumed with strife,
I keep giving but fail to get it back,
I've come to understand there must be something that I lack,
Why won't you say those beautiful words to me?
Why won't you tell them that it's with me that you want to be?

Feels like I've lived several lifetimes without you,
Were we meant to be? Do you ponder too?
Do you think as much as I think about us?
Am I beyond saving or Am I worth the fuss?

I've waited for eternity,
Just for you,
You are enough for me,
But am I enough for you?
