The girl who can't move on

It's the same warm day, and like every other day, her heart felt cold.

She was frozen, stuck in the moment where his arm was around her shoulders. And every time she sits there, remembering every moment, her mind's a storm.

She will go out of her house and look at the streets. She'll wonder where he is and if he's ever going to pass by. She'll look stupid for hoping. She'll look stupid for still waiting. But she's not the type to just give up. And she doesn't want to.

She wanted that man who broke her heart. She wanted him. This time, she's so sure of it.

How could any girl not want him, anyway? He's good looking, tall and he says all the right things. She may look foolish for wanting him back again, but it's not her fault. If he didn't touched her, if he didn't hugged her so tight, if he didn't whispered those silly things in her ear and maybe if she's not that naive to believe all of it, she could've just moved on with her life.

But then again, how could she move on from someone who broke her?

She can't. It's been years but still, she can't.

Maybe because she still hopes for him. She still hopes that the man who broke her, will also be the one to fix her. She still hopes that one smile from him would mean he still cares. She still hopes that he'll finally turn around and face her, not just glance. She still hopes that one day, he'll stop pretending he didn't see her sparkling eyes whenever the two of them would pass by each other.

She hopes. And she'll continue to wait. Maybe until he'll find the courage to say he loved her and that he still do. Until he says he will never leave her again.

She'll wait. Like a fool.

Because she's still that girl. His girl.
