The Girl Who Had No Choice

It was a dark, gloomy night. Cold and rain are pouring outside the old house. Inside the house is a little girl in its room, humming her favorite song and browsing everything in the internet.

She's with her family but she's longing for their love and tender care. She used to go to school but then dropped out. She loves to study but they won't allow her. They said that it is bad for her to hang around with people. She knew that it was only their way but she keeps on believing that they doesn't like her. Oh, she's not a real daughter after all.

Her dad adopted her when she was still a baby but it died because of an accident. Since then, her so-called-mom and so-called-siblings treated her as a ghost. As invisible. She's like air that can't be seen.

She reached her sixteenth year of existence, as usual, she's all alone in her small room. She was thinking of something to do but all that passing into her mind is her memories with her best friend, her childhood friend that always stays when she needed someone to talk to. Sadly, her mother told her that she has to stay away from her. She said that her friend is not good for her and it can ruin her future.

That is when a clear liquid fell from her eyes. She's crying. She's dumbfounded. She's a living dead. She's so depressed.
A day after that night, her sister knocked on her door to say that there is something important to discuss with the family. That is the same day that she was found dead in her room. Overdosed. The same day that they were about to tell her that she will going to have a big celebration for her birthday.

She used to be a good daughter but seems like no one noticed it. But the truth is, she was really the one who doesn't notice such efforts from her family. She was forced to stop schooling because there is threat in her life, she was forced to leave her best friend because it came from a family of burglars.

Too late, she ended her life so early without talking to her family. Not even saying a single word.
