A soulless, dull and void region, The Hollow, is very tempting and attractive from the outside. Inside, it is an empty space haunted by the ghosts of all our suffering, regrets and misfortunes. Entering the Hollow is easy and natural but leaving it needs valiance and dedication.
The Hollow lies behind our Joyous state, feeding on it. It incites the idea of enhancing our emotional state luring us into its trap. Victimized by Hollow, we become unstable and melancholic.
Once inside the Hollow, a person is vulnerable to its ghosts. His deep dejection overwhelms his comprehension, any uplifting factor is drowned by the surplus of his repentance, the idea of leaving is suppressed by his afflictions.
A person is tormented and traumatized if he ever surrenders to the Hollow. Escaping is irrational, leaving the past behind is the only outway ticket. Unable to do so, this becomes a perpetual place.
Moving on is the only escape route from this place. To find that, one has to be brave enough to retire from the past, accept the valuable present and anticipate the inevitable future.
