The Indian Stereotype!

Info

India!

India is my country.

(avoiding the second line)

I love my country and i am proud......

Yes,we all have done that when we were in school (Although i was really annoyed at the beginning when the guys in my class did that but then later i was like yeah its fun and all..)

So,Yeah i love my India!

Its beautiful!

Indians are hospitable,heart warming people,

(Not that the other countries are not but here,i am just talking about Indians and India, one love!)

but none the less..

we indians have a stereotype!

yes we do!

especially, indian parents...

ofcourseee!

there are some significant things which annoy indian parents

and the most obvious one is

NOT WAKING UP EARLY!

i dont know how they see it,

me not waking up early = future jobless me with 1 pair of clothes wandering on the roads for jobs and eating air.

apart from this,

there is another one which is also very very obvious,

(this is a modern generation parent-child issue going on all round the world and not only india but still indians are a bit more annoyed by this)

A CHILD SEEN WITH HIS/HER MOBILE ANYWHERE NEAR HIS/HER AURA.

(seriously)

Even if i am actually reading something on my phone(academic),

they are like ya ya! ur reading! messages sent by ur friends?

literally i study for 23 hours and 59 minutes in a day and the last one minute i touch my phone and my parents are like

"see this, entire day u use ur phone,i dont know what business issues u have that u have to always pay attention to!"

i am like "mom,i am using the calculator"

and my mom's reply will be something like " ya ya! when u cant use ur brain,u have to use the calculator"

**bangs the door and leaves the room**

and the next thing that annoys indian parents is

"CAN I GO OUT WITH MY FRIENDS?"

that question has some possible answers-

1) "Why dont u ask ur friends' parents to adopt u?"

2) I think u have to rephrase the question and ask ur friends,"can i stay at home today",because every day ur outside the house for more hours than ur inside! **sarcastic smile**

3) Why are u even asking? you will anyways do what u want to right?

And your reply to any of these replies will be called an argument and u will at last get succumbed into an extremely random emotional atyachaar scene and u will end up cancelling ur plans and sitting in ur room or the next 535 years.

And yeah,ofcourse,

Talking to an opposite gender person.

This is mostttttt interesting thing for one person to watch when their friend is getting a lecture from his/her parents for talking to an opposite gender person.

the first and foremost question the parent will ask is the most un-answerable question(i mean a "wtf" question)

"why?"

lets consider x to be a girl.

and x is like "why? what why?"

parent -" why should u talk to him? dont u have female friends?"

x - " i do! but whats wrong in talking to a guy?"

parent - "oh!! now u are so grown up that ur questioning me?"

x- "but.."

parent - "Do not argue with me!"

and then u have no answer for that and as mentioned earlier u just gotta shut up!

and even if u have a question or an answer for her question or an answer,

the "i will tell your dad" will come up and that will shut u up for sure!

and then u will be like.."i am never gonna be like this,oh i am gonna be so open minded and all"

but let me tell u one thing,

its not gonna happen

ur gonna end up justttt like ur parents and its a fact!

maybe u will be an updated version but never the less, the content and the base is going to be the same thing!

because lets face it,

we are like this!

we just are!

I thought I was not this typical Indian kind of person but then lately, I have realized that i am no less of it.

I have these rules set in my brain for no particular reason and then if someone breaks them or something like that happens,it drives me crazyyy!

literally sober to savage in a Micro second..

until i realize that i don't have to react so much because they are my set of rules and others not following them should not effect me because i don't own the world!

everyone has their own set of rules and regulations, limits,do's and dont's

and i feel our perspective and opinion should not be forced onto others!

we Definitely don't have a right to do so!

anyways the topic got totally diverted.

and I am gonna take off!

Peace!
