The Life of an Ant

While crawling on the yellowish-green walls of a house, my brothers were happily talking about something. I'm not sure what they're talking about because I'm still in awe with everything I see since it's my first time to go out of our den. All I heard is that, they're going to get something for everyone and they found it on a large, wooden platform with four legs attached to it. That something, based on what I heard, is luscious and fluffy. It is brown in color, and its aroma is strong yet sweet, which is something that we really, really love. Through a wooden leg of another platform we were able to pass through and we found that thing my brothers have been talking about. Oh my! The aroma is pulling me closer! I can't help it. We happily crawled towards it but all of a sudden, we saw a huge creature with a thin, orange band on its head and before us, it's splashing... oh my what was that? Bubbles floating in a foamy water? Well maybe it is. It smelled strong and toxic and I was feeling dizzy because of this, I think. Some of us tried to go closer towards that thing but the filthy hand of the beast swept us away from the platform. Ouch! My head felt heavier than before. And I didn't know how I managed to survive that terrifying moment while looking at my dead brothers as I crawled on my way home.
