The Love I Shouldn't Have Given

"I wish I could get a refund for all the love I've wasted on people."

If you're one of those people who regrets loving, this one's for you.

Don't.

No matter the scars in your heart. No matter how stupid you believe you've been. Even if you could take back the love that you gave so freely. Even if you hadn't been hurt. You wouldn't have gone through all these difficulties and you wouldn't be as stronger and as wiser as you are now.

No matter the tears you've shed. No matter the time you've wasted. Even if you don't love them now, you've loved them at one point. And love is never a waste. It is not your fault the person you've given your heart to does not appreciate it.  Love is never wrong. Remember that. 

If you think you could've committed to another person without having things go the way they did. It doesn't matter. You mustn't regret love no matter how much you think it was a mistake. Time cannot be rewritten. And it is better that way because if not, then we would never heal from the past.

You're pain is as much as your love. Do not rue over the love that you've given. For it should be them mourning for a loss of a person who cared so deeply about them. Let them have your love. And let them see you have more to give. Only, it is not for them anymore.
