They show you how much pain she's feeling so she puts foundations and bandages on them. To hide away her pain from others, only she knows what's hidden under.
The scars shows you how what she's been through. She lost friends and family but she continues on.
The Scars help you see her side of the story, to let you know that bandages wouldn't hide the scars, they rip off easily. Foundation and concealers couldn't conceal them, they wash off when scrubs hard. Ice won't ease away the stinging feeling of burns, and disinfectant wouldn't protect the scars alone.
She cut, she scratched, and she gave up. And I should know!
Because that "She" is me...
I fall apart when I try to hide the pain. I couldn't keep on pretending that the pain isn't there, but its still there. I couldn't keep up on my feet so I sit down, and I can barely keep up on smiling through sad eyes...
And we should know, because someone has been there but we haven't opened our eyes to see it.
