I am an active member of THE SEMICOLON PROJECT, a movement to help the depressed people from committing self-harm or worse, suicide. For someone who has been through a lot, I know how it feels to look at yourself in the mirror and see someone you hate, to stare at your blood-stained wrist wondering if you were ever enough. Don't harm yourself. The semicolon is a symbol for a sentence that could have ended but the author chose to continue. So, please. Instead of choosing to blade your wrist, draw a semicolon instead. Choose to continue your life.

Hello, I am a student of Psychology and I would like to thank you for increasing the awareness of depression. People should know and be able to distinguish the reality of depression and that everyone should know that there are people willing to be there for them and they are not alone. Self-harm and self-isolation should never be the answer to one's depression. Thank you once again! This warms my heart :)
