The Wait..

i remember the first time,

i called out your name again and again

but you did'nt seem to listen 

and i thought it was over 

forever

and i felt it for the first time,rejection

it blinded me,

the future was no more,it was blank

and blurred my vision the beads of tears

for the first time in a long time

but you came back,

and you felt a pang of regret seeing the dampness of my face

but the tears they were no more,cause you were there

hope restored,strength crept back unto my shaky legs

your eyes softened and you asked "did you cry?"

and i shook my head no,you smiled

at my lie, and then,i did too...

but this time,i am alone sitting here,

and you won't be coming back,

to stop these tears,

not from my eyes but from my heart

but i'm still here waiting...
