Let me narrate a small story
Of a Mother and her daughter
who fight together to save the earth
From an unforeseen manslaughter
The mother marched to the front lines
With a white coat and a brave heart
The countless shields she has put on
Left her scars on each body part
Not a day of enough slumber
Her face is blemished, almost pale
Exhaustion curtails all her veins
Low appetite has made her frail
The foe we face is a tough one
Subtle at first and then fatal
With a weapon invincible
Unity has turned suicidal
The voice of her daughter calls out
With teary eyes from a distance
'Mama please come home! I miss you!'
But she is in an abstinence
She misses the smile of her girl
And craves the warm touch of her man
She keeps our safety above hers
Grief of lives lost is not her plan
This battle she fights is endless
She cannot triumph on her own
Tough alliance is what she seeks
Discipline and love to be shown
