The Wedding

Weddings would always be a happy event for her. A new beginning, a once in a lifetime memory. So as the door of the church finally opens, and the wedding march finally started she plastered her most heartfelt smile. Joy is evident in everyone's faces, including him, and that's the most important thing for her. As she slowly walked down the aisle, they locked eyes, and it still feels the same. Her heart flutters, like it might burst. It shares tge same beat with their favorite song it may just a few decibels louder. And she remembers every moment like this. The way the world slowly fades and it's only her and him. She looked at him, only him. Memorizing every feature of him, the way his mouth curves when he smiles, and the little crinkles in the side of his eyes. She memorized every piece, every bit of him. She looked at the altar, and thank God again, for bringing him into her life. He fixed every broken piece of her. When she was a mess, he was there to help her make it through. In every tear she shed, he was there to wipe it away. He was there to hug her tight when she was close to giving up. He was there to cheer her towards her dreams. He makes her laugh like nobody else. He was the one held her hair back everytime she threws up. Whenever she's with him, she doesn't have to be somebody else. Being herself is enough, she is and would always be enough. He was the reason why she became who she is today. He taught her how to trust again, and most importantly he taught her to love when she thought she would never be able to. He completed her, that's why she loved him. She loved him with all her heart. And as she finally reached him, a tear quietly fell. She was so happy. And he's happy too. He hugged her tight and she hugged him back. She hugged him like she would never let him go. He ended the embrace, he gave her a smile and she gave him a last one. And as the song proceeded to chorus, she slowly took the seat as the bridesmaid.
She loved him with all her heart, although she knows he'd be forever inlove with her bestfriend.
