Then , maybe ?

If you would have ruined that silly jhumka I dropped at your glossy office floor , instead of keeping it and smiling at me from ear to ear and jerked your hand a little - emphasizing on how silly I was beginning to sound then maybe I would have stopped a little and thought about where was I going.

If you haven't similed.
There and then , I wouldn't have spent those hours rehearsing about how I am going to ask you to return my jhumka and nor would I have fallen in love with you.

Then maybe I wouldn't have told you about my highschool crushes that night and neither it would have led us to that Streetlight.
Then maybe the urge to kiss you wouldn't have been that much , as it was.

Then maybe I would have lost the count of the leaves that your rose carries and might have dragged my pointy stiletto to your foot and told you how one of your joke hit me.

Then maybe I would have laughed like an idiot when you told me you'll get me the stars one day and probably told you I have already pocketed a few  in my faded jeans.

It was something in the lull of  midnight or in beat of that freaking
Burning-chessy Bollywood song...
I fell for a mere picture in my picture-book
and almost forgot about the
necessary "battles" that we really needed to uproot first.

I used to be  one of those  who are going to like this post and will definitely want to comment,but alas! won't find a dedication to shower.

But because of  you and a little more of me , I will be  the ones who skip the caption and march ahead.
