A deep sigh emants , from deep within my bones,
Every Time I realize how fast they are growing old,
Same pair of eyes and same pair of hands,
Can't reverse the clock ,can I, there's no magic wand..
Her smile when she sees the smile on my face,
Wrinkles on her skin but she aged with such grace,
He on the other hand, is a naughty kid again,
Should i laugh, should i cry, should i start feeling the impending pain?
Nah, I will not waste the time that we have,
I will try to fulfil all that they ever desired,
A long list of sleepless nights,just so that my life's not in vain,
A long list of sacrifices , a long list of endured pain..
So many people don't realize this thing,
Would you marvel at this world, if it was not for them?
Life isn't fair and life isn't always a bliss,
But one day when they aren't around, that day you will surely miss..
Such a huge debt that I can't ever repay,
Not in this life at least , that's at least i can say,
Maybe next life they are born as my children,
Maybe then only I may give them what they've given..
