Thoughts

They said, "Thoughts can kill." Well, I believe them.

I received a diary, it was from my best friend. It contains dozens of complaints, rants and demands about how the society acts, how the society kills.

In the first page of the diary, it was written there that he was being bullied, criticized and demoralized by his classmates. As I flipped the pages, I felt the hatred, sadness and fear in the words that were written there. How can a guy so jolly be so lonely in just a couple of weeks?

He was being mislead by the lies they told him, he was being different, and yet, no one helped him. He was drowning in his thoughts, deep and dark. He was alone, no one will save him.

He who was strong became weak. He who was good became bad. He who was happy became lonely. He who was my friend became a stranger to me.

He realized it, though. That he was changing, that he was not being better, but instead, being worse. That's why in the last page of that diary, he said his last goodbye, he said he was sorry, for not being good enough. He said he won't be a bother anymore. He said he was going to end his misery.

And he did. The next day, they said that he committed suicide. Gun in his hand and blood running down his head.

He died, not because of the gun or the bullets, but because of the thoughts that lead him to pull the trigger.
