To all the things we lost but never had.

Info

"To all the feelings
that turned into poetry
and all the memories
that turned into faded photographs.

To all the shared cigarettes
that turned into ashes
and to all the warm mornings
that turned into left over coffee cups.

To all the vows
that turned into broken promises,
and to the fast beating of hearts
that made it explode
and turned into broken pieces.

This is a poem
to all the days
we spent together
fearing to name
the depth of our feelings,
scared to call it love.

Did we lost a love
we never had?
Or did we fell apart
before we fell in love?"

We're all destructive.

I have always wondered why do we seem wired to be subconsciously attracted to these complexities?
